由於「落枕」狀況回復不佳，遊騎兵隊日籍強投達比修有確定將無法投開幕戰先發，總教練 Ron Washington打算開季將把他放入傷兵名單中。

達比修有26日回到德州去找了球團扭傷與背部專屬醫師，雖然他可以投球，但是沒想像中順利。

他說：「如果我認為狀況還可以，我就會繼續丟，但是我沒有，所以我就停止練球。」

目前隊醫認為他的傷勢沒有任何進展，所以安排他回到德州進行更進一步的檢測。

不只是睡眠出狀況，球團傾向把他的傷勢視為是更嚴重的症狀，也停止讓他為了開季先發而急著想復原。
