街頭派對變調失控　警民衝突百人被捕

美國南加州5日一個春假街頭派對演變成暴動，警方使用催淚瓦斯和橡膠子彈驅散，44人受傷，逾100人被捕。

這個名為「Deltopia」的街頭派對在聖巴巴拉以南17公里的「Isla Vista」舉行，每年吸引15,000人參加，參加者大部份為加大聖巴巴拉分校學生。他們多數會飲酒作樂。

當天晚間由於參加派對者飲酒過量，行為失控和警方爆發衝突，一名大學警察遭一個裝滿玻璃瓶的背包擊中頭部受傷。警方到場，群眾投擲磚頭、石塊、玻璃瓶，有人撕去路牌、縱火、毀壞警車。警員施放催淚彈、胡淑噴霧、閃光彈和橡膠子彈驅散。警方指花了幾小時才驅散所有群眾，到周日清晨局勢回復平靜。

事件中有五名警員受傷，其中一人遭磚頭擊中臉部，另一人被玻璃瓶擊中手。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
