（中央社康乃狄克州新海芬7日綜合外電報導）消息人士告訴記者，已故美國參議員愛德華．甘迺迪的兒子小愛德華．甘迺迪（Ted Kennedy Jr.）正計畫競選康乃狄克州參議員，這將是他首次競選公職。

小愛德華．甘迺迪明天將宣布，他有意爭取民主黨提名競選。

他現為健保律師，52歲，住在康州新海芬（NewHaven）附近的濱海城鎮布蘭福德（bRANFORD），外界傳言他將參選已有一段時間。(中央社)
