屏東新園產地香蕉1公斤接近40元高價，蕉農憂心深夜香蕉恐遭人「偷割」，東港警分局針對轄區內約70公頃香蕉園，組成護衛隊加強深夜巡邏。

今日出刊的《自由時報》報導，上月底詭異天氣，造成新園鄉不少香蕉樹遭折斷，因產量減少，蕉農擔心價高香蕉成為宵小偷竊對象。東港警分局得知情形，結合義警、民防組成護衛隊加強轄內巡邏，甚至還在蕉園設置巡邏箱，並在產業道路路檢，加強守護。（夏至賢／綜合報導）
