日職用球超會飛 竟不合規定

〔自由時報記者吳清正／綜合報導〕日本職棒今年的比賽用球特別會飛，檢查結果發現，彈性係數超過上限，製造商美津濃昨天召開記者會公開道歉，並承諾儘快提供合乎規定的球。

美津濃社長水野明人表示，因為美津濃的疏失，造成聯盟和球團困擾，感到非常抱歉，彈性係數超標，是因纏繞球芯的毛線太過乾燥，美津濃沒有因應季節變化，保持毛線的適當含水量，對於原物料的管理，今後會檢討改進。

水野表示，將先從庫存的2300打比賽用球之中，找出彈性係數合格的球，預定22日起可以提供使用，同時趕製合格的新球，5月上旬可望開始穩定供應。
