2014屆大學畢業生的就業前景正在逐漸好轉。根據全美大學與雇主協會(national association of colleges and employers；下簡稱nace)的一項最新調查，雇主正計劃為他們在美國的業務雇傭比2013屆多出8.3%的畢業生。而在2013年春季，雇主們表示將比前一年增加2%的雇傭人數。兩項對照，今年算有一個大幅提升。

nace是一家位於賓夕法尼亞伯利恒(bethlehem, pa)的非營利組織，主要從事高校就業辦公室和雇主公司之間的聯絡工作。這家機構在2014年2月11至3月26期間對其雇主庫中1,015個成員進行了調查，並收到其中161家公司的反饋，涵蓋從農業到能源再到零售的不同產業。受訪公司包括公司(caterpillar)、梅西百貨(macy’s)、默克集團(merck)、petco和斯倫貝謝公司(schlumberger)。
