美研究　二氧化碳上升有損穀物營養值

美國哈佛大學公衛所研究人員7日警告，二氧化碳水平上升，將嚴重損害主要穀物包括稻米和小麥的營養價值。

在 《自然》雜誌刊出的報告中，研究員表示，在澳洲、日本及美國7處田野，測試種植6種作物的41種株種，並把它們暴露在較高水平二氧化碳中。

結果發現，在這些地點種植的小麥，鋅、鐵和蛋白質的濃度，分別比在正常環境生長的小麥少9.3%、5.1%和6.3%。在稻米方面，鋅，鐵和蛋白質水平則分別減少 3.3%、5.2%和7.8%。

這個結果重要在於全球約近20億人口透過穀物攝取鋅和鐵，一旦穀物營養價值受損，連帶影響人類健康。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
