備戰世界盃足球賽，墨西哥主帥赫雷拉下禁慾令，就連陣中效力曼聯的明星前鋒賀蘭德茲（Javier Hernandez）也不例外，他說：「如果一名球員無法忍受一個月或20天沒有性生活，代表你稱不上專業。」
赫雷拉坦言，他不會強制規定此事，盼國腳們了解到巴西不是去開派對，況且許多人到25歲都還是未婚處男，「不會有人因為禁慾40天就死掉啦！」
媒體反問禁慾令是否適用於教練團，赫雷拉表示，自己光研究對巴西、克羅埃西亞、喀麥隆的戰術就忙翻了，並且再次告誡說：「我們就住在海灘前，在巴西絕對會遇到比基尼女郎，但是看看就好。」
阻撓國腳們「床笫之樂」在世足賽不是頭一回，上屆英格蘭教頭卡佩羅就嚴格禁止球員與太太或女友相聚時間，讓英將苦不堪言。

禁慾40天,連一般人都很難了,更何況是運動員,沒禁慾真的會腿軟?
