（中央社巴西聖保羅12日綜合外電報導）世界盃足球賽今天點燃戰火，地主國巴西在聖保羅首戰克羅埃西亞，巴西總統羅賽芙親臨觀戰，賽前數以千計民眾對她大聲叫罵，凸顯民眾不滿政府在經濟困苦時砸錢辦大賽。

開幕戰有超過6萬人觀賽，包括12位外國元首。就在開踢前幾分鐘，許多球迷忽然高喊羅賽芙（DilmaRousseff）的名字，大罵髒話，使得場面尷尬。

巴西經濟疲弱不振，政府卻砸下創紀錄的110億美元經費主辦世界盃，批評者認為這些錢應該用於教育、衛生、住宅與運輸方面才對。今年10月將競選連任的羅賽芙奮力想扭轉社會對政府廣泛的不滿情緒。

世界盃開幕之前，巴西抗議活動頻頻，包括今天舉行開幕式的聖保羅仍有群眾示威，警方發射催淚彈與橡膠子彈，阻止激進民眾遊行前往巴西與克羅埃西亞比賽的歌林多球場（Corinthians Arena）。(中央社)
