原鄉消防隊落成　布農族耆老鳴槍祈福

內政部消防署為提升「山地鄉消防救災效能計畫」，在花蓮縣新增豐濱水璉、萬榮及卓溪消防隊。歷時兩年興建，卓溪消防分隊今日落成，揭牌儀式前特別邀請布農族耆老鳴槍及吟唱8部合音祈福，卓楓國小合唱「拍手歌」歡慶卓溪鄉有史以來第1座消防隊落成。
 
花蓮縣消防局長顏新章表示，卓溪消防分隊與富里鄉、玉里鎮鄰接，兩側山區為卓溪鄉立山、崙山布農族原住民傳統居住部落；因該處尚未設置消防外勤單位派駐執勤，如遇有災難往往需增待救援時間，新建消防分隊可有效確保公共安全並強化救災救護時效，讓卓溪地區鄉親不再為欠缺消防救災設施而擔憂。（黃瑞娟／花蓮報導）
