微軟（Microsoft）旗下的Skype宣布，將不再支援較舊的桌面電腦版，未來用戶若不更新就無法使用。

Skype在官網指出，為幫下一代桌面版Skype開闢新路，未來將不再支援舊版，包括Windows的6.13版或以下，及Mac的6.14版或以下。若用戶想繼續使用，就必須升級為最新版本，該措施將在近月實施。

微軟日前發表Skype Translator即時語音文字翻譯應用程式，預計年底先在Windows 8平台測試，並逐步普及至其他平台。（盧麗蓮／綜合報導）
