兩客機險相撞 美航管員解危機

美國聯邦航空總署（FAA）表示，休士頓機場的航管人員應對得宜，化解了兩架客機可能在空中相撞的危機。

美聯社報導，這起事件發生在3日晚間，地點在休士頓布希國際機場（Bush Intercontinental Airport）東北方16公里處上空，當時一架新加坡航空公司（Singapore Airlines）波音777巨無霸噴射客機和達美航空公司（Delta Airlines）一架A320客機相互接近，水平距離僅約800公尺，垂直距離更僅約60公尺。

依據美國聯邦當局規定，飛機垂直距離應保持至少800公尺，水平距離則應達4800公尺。

聯邦航空總署人員告訴「休士頓紀事報」（Houston Chronicle），幸好航管人員及時注意到這種危險情況，指示機師閃避，防止發生重大飛安事故。
