中華電信數據機設定問題

小弟家裡現在用的是光世代100M，中華電信配的是D-Link 的DSL-6470C，還配兩台MOD，
有開啟無線網路的功能，但是最近無線網路常常不穩，常常會斷線，所以想要把之前的AP拿出來用，
型號是asus的RT-N12。

我的問題是中華電信的數據機已經有設定pppoe上網，所以我只要將網路線插入asus的機器就可以，這樣會影響速度嗎??還是要在asus上面再設定一次，比較好

另外我有申請一個固定IP上網，那我可以在中華電信的數據機設定動態IP上網，然後在asus的機器設定固定ip上網嗎，這是因為連上中國的網路實在太慢，上個淘寶買東西，一直看再轉圈圈，轉到都沒有興致選購，如果可以這樣設定，就有兩個不同IP的無線網路可以選擇，或許多一點機會看速度會不會變快

還請有經驗的大大，可以幫忙解惑，謝謝
