新榮高中5日以66：49擊敗南山高中，拿下2014年菁英盃高中男子組冠軍，升高三的羅建斌從苦力變主攻，讓人耳目一新。

「當學長了，要試著帶領學弟，不能只靠幾個人撐。」羅建斌說：「以前在國中就是這樣打，不會陌生。」

帶領新榮走過18個年頭的女教練田本玉在今年4月離隊，由原助理教練廖浚暉接掌兵符，他也認為「阿斌」羅建斌成長不少。

「這陣子發現他很有破壞能力，就讓他分擔杜思汗、高孟偉的進攻責任，他切、傳表現的也很不錯。」廖浚暉說。

談到田本玉的離開，羅建斌透露確實低潮了好一陣子，「其實到現在還是會想念她，場邊沒有一個人大呼小叫，很不習慣。」

「她離開前有找我單獨講話，那時候就覺得教練好像有甚麼心事。」羅建斌難掩失落說：「沒想到最後還是離開了，真的很難過。」
