雖受西南氣流影響，29名男女今天還是不畏風雨，穿著雨衣，從台南騎著單車出發，預定以11天環島，證明他們成年長大了。

這場環島單車成年禮由體育署主辦，中華民國大專院校體育總會承辦，全國分為6個梯次，南區梯隊上午從台南市政府永華市政中心出發，原有32人報名，其中3人因有事取消，出發時全隊剩29人。

台南受西南氣流影響，7日起出現明顯雨勢，但環島車隊還是如預期時程出發，每人都穿著雨衣，在市長賴清德、體育署副署長王水文的祝福下啟程，踏上他們的成年之旅。

市府體育處表示，南區梯隊將以逆時針方向環島，以11天時間騎完1000公里，行程中將造訪國立台灣歷史博物館、高雄科學工藝博物館、屏東海洋生物博物館及故宮博物院等10個著名博物館。(中央社)
