美國勞工市場改善有多快 Fed意見依舊分歧

根據央行的7月會議記錄顯示，美國央行說，勞工市場改善較預期快速，但大多央行官員仍不認為，勞工市場已強勁至很快可以改變利率政策。

Fed的決策委員會同意，勞工市場情況已見改善。系列勞工市場指標顯示，仍有大量勞工資源未充份利用。

在7月29至30日的會議中，聯邦公開市場委員會(FOMC)投票以9比1，維持目前讓振興措施自經濟中緩慢退場的政策。

大多委員並重申，Fed可能維持短期聯邦基金利率於低於被視為正常水平「一段時間」。

費城Fed銀行總裁Charles Plosser--唯一持反對意見者--聲稱，他的同事低估了勞工市場的改善及通貨膨脹上升並邁向央行2%的目標。
