40歲的台語金曲歌后黃妃，８月31日在臉書宣布懷孕，她７月中正值專輯宣傳期卻取消所有通告，已引發有孕揣測，當時稱身體不適，昨表示：「不說的原因是礙於傳統觀念不能說，現在稍微穩定，才敢公布讓大家分享喜悅。」預產期在明年春天。

她結婚８年、３度小產，求子心切的她曾赴廟裡拜拜、為安胎臥床２個月，但始終未果；後來大家要她放輕鬆、隨緣，加上吃中藥調理身體，終於「自然受孕」成功。她說：「孩子得來不易，想好好待產，目前一切平安；短期內不會工作，可能會到孩子出生後才能與大家見面，臉書也會同時關閉。」

為何關臉書？經紀人說網路留言正反意見都有，乾脆先不看、以免影響心情；據悉她很怕產檢，擔心有狀況、情緒較不穩定，還好老公對她特別禮讓，她自己也小心翼翼，出門不敢騎車，目前大概胖３公斤，每天就是「吃飯、發呆、等著生Baby」。
