一年一度的新聞盃籃球賽，7日舉辦「高鐵愛心之旅」邀請高雄氣爆災區的光華國小籃球隊來到台北，與新聞女生隊的大姊姊們進行一場有趣又溫馨的慈善賽。

新聞盃連續兩年與國內知名壽險金融集團合作，今年主辦單位不僅在高鐵的慷慨贊助下請來光華國小的小球員，還在場邊擺上「高雄加油」等海報，希望全民一同替災區祈福。

女生隊此役特地聘請轉戰SBL台灣大教練團的楊志豪擔任「一日教頭」，小朋友打的賣力、大姊姊打的認真，最終比數也是很「歡樂」的26：26，握手言和。

「大家都很拚，表現也都很棒！」楊志豪笑說。

2014年新聞盃在台北體育館4樓舉行，由線上體育女記者、主播組成的女生隊8日12：30將出戰中華職棒中信兄弟美女啦啦隊「Passion Sister」，來場「熱情對決」。
