台中市一名女子今天站在太平區坪林橋旁輸水管上，並揚言要自殺，經員警安撫規勸，由消防人員將女子救下才化解這場驚魂記。

台中市警察局太平分局坪林派出所指出，今天上午接獲民眾報案，有一名女子站在坪林橋旁輸水管上，疑似要自殺。處理員警抵達現場，發現李姓女子站在橋旁大型輸水管上，與丈夫黃姓男子互相爭吵，並揚言要跳下河床自殺，兩人隔空對喊，誰也不讓誰。

員警見狀上前規勸，兩人向警員表示，這是家庭糾紛，不要警方介入。警消人員持續好言相勸，經過近50分鐘的安撫及勸說，雙方情緒才慢慢和緩。

消防人員將女子從輸水管上救下。女子的婆婆也急忙趕到場關心，並陪著媳婦至太平國軍總醫院就醫。

警方表示，黃姓男子事後雖不願表明夫妻爭吵原因，但仍非常感謝警消人員協助。警方也呼籲，一定要珍惜生命，千萬不要貿然尋短，自殺不是解決問題的辦法，以免造成家人、親友永遠的傷痛。(中央社)
