人蛇撞船 500偷渡客恐滅頂

（法新社羅馬15日電） 國際移民組織（IOM）今天表示，在船隻遭人蛇撞沈後，恐怕有多達500名移民已滅頂，並形容這是「多年來最嚴重的船難」。

生還者告訴國際移民組織，這起發生在馬爾他附近船難的可怕細節。利比亞外海昨天才傳出有1艘船沉沒，數10名來自非洲的移民失蹤，恐怕已死亡。

國際移民組織發布聲明說：「警方正在調查的這起事件如屬實，將是多年來最嚴重的船難...這不是意外，而是大規模謀殺，犯案者肆無忌憚，對人命毫不尊重。」

一艘貨輪11日自海中救起的2名巴勒斯坦人告訴國際移民組織，船上約有500人。船隻遭人蛇故意撞沈。

根據生還者，來自敘利亞、巴勒斯坦、埃及及蘇丹等地移民，9月6日自埃及達米艾塔（Damietta）出發，在渡海航向歐洲時，被迫數度換船。

乘坐另一艘船隻的人蛇，命令他們擠進較小一艘船，許多移民擔心船太小無法裝下所有人。

根據生還者，他們拒絕換到新的較小船隻，憤怒的人蛇衝撞他們的船隻，把船撞沉。

國際移民組織在義大利發言人迪賈柯莫（FlavioDi Giacomo）告訴法新社：「2名生還者被帶到西西里後告訴我們，船上至少有500人。希臘和馬爾他船隻救起另外9名生還者，但其他人似乎都遭滅頂。」（譯者：中央社羅苑韶）
