武漢公開賽 小威不適而退賽

（法新社武漢23日電） 美國網球女將、頭號種子小威廉絲（Serena Williams）今天因病退出武漢公開賽，首盤沒打完她就感到不適，必須由人扶持離開球場。

世界排名第1的小威廉絲在量過體溫和血壓後，宣布退出比賽；她當時在首盤以6比5領先法國的柯爾妮（Alize Cornet），兩人在場上廝殺才剛過1個小時。

小威兩週前才在紐約的美國公開賽封后，摘下生涯第18座大滿貫賽冠軍，這是其後首次出賽，不料如此收場。

中國大陸網球一姐李娜在武漢公開賽登場前夕，宣布因傷封拍，小威退賽對這項比賽無疑又是一次打擊。（譯者：中央社劉文瑜）
