中國國民黨台北市長參選人連勝文在忠孝東路二段上的競選總部27日上午成立，現任台北市長郝龍斌授黨旗給連勝文，象徵國民黨傳承。

副總統吳敦義出席替連勝文披上肩帶，象徵選戰正式開打。立法院副院長洪秀柱則以女性身分替連勝文站台，並為國民黨里長代表及市議員授旗，象徵旗開得勝；國民黨籍立法委員丁守中、林郁方等10餘位立委，30多位市議員及參選人也到場站台。

台北市長郝龍斌抵達會場時，掀起活動高潮。郝龍斌黨旗授旗給連勝文，並表示8年前他也從當時的台北市長馬英九手中接過黨旗，今天他同樣交棒給連勝文。

郝龍斌再次肯定連勝文在悠遊卡任內的政績，郝龍斌說:「看到他的認真、負責，只要承諾的事情，一定做到好。」郝表示，未來台北最重要是國際化，需要一個具有國際觀的市長，不僅受過完整教育，更有國際合作金融等經驗，更重要的是，政策要推動，需要一個「說到、做到」的候選人。
