南橫公路利稻部落前明隧道工程，發生坍方，原預定今天上午通車；但坍方情況比評估嚴重，預估明天下午5時才能通車。

公路總局關山工務段目前在南橫公路天龍飯店和利稻部落之間182.65公里處，實施明隧道工程，這幾天路基土石鬆軟塌陷，昨天清晨忽然大坍方，路基近百公尺被土石覆蓋。

巨大土石，清除工作不易，有些巨石必須打破才能清除，土石厚度30公尺高，關山工務段原預估今天上午通車，但今天上午工程人員發現坍方情況比看到的還嚴重。

公路總局關山工務段長李秉仁表示，因這路段邊坡岩石風化嚴重節理發達，7日清晨發生大規模崩塌，造成交通阻斷。今天搶修過程中仍有大小岩塊持續間歇掉落，除危及搶修機具人員安全外，也阻礙搶修進度與效率，因此搶通時間預估9日下午5時。

李秉仁表示，受困山友今天已從天龍古道下山，天龍飯店對外交通不受影響，而利稻部落民眾民生物資尚能因應，但是運送高麗菜車輛無法載運下山，已積極與菜農溝通取得諒解，關山工務段將督促承商竭盡全力積極搶修，以利人車恢復通行及農產品順利輸運下山。(中央社)
