TLC 確實可以經由控制晶片的wear leveling設計來延長寫入次數.
但是SSD 不是只有寫入次數.

隨著寫入次數增加, Data Retention 會劣化, 也就是Data可以保存的時間會隨著寫入次數增加而變短.

Data Retention 也會受到溫度的影響.

一旦error bit 超過控制晶片能夠訂正的極限, 資料就是永遠喪失.

如果您一直在跑測試軟件, 把SSD 操到爆, 那data retention 對您來說可能不重要, 因為控制晶片一直在access NAND, 只要設計不是很爛的控制晶片, 它永遠有機會去偵測retention已經很weak的地方並搬動資料( refresh data )

如果寫入次數已經爆表, 控制晶片又無法去refresh 資料, 那神來都沒用, 因為floating gate CMOS會一直discharge, 一旦控制晶片做了多次read retry還沒法救回資料, 那就真的是再見了.
