太空人隊季後積極補強牛棚投手戰力，據了解太空人隊已同意與Luke Gregerson簽3年1850萬美元合約，另與Pat Neshek簽2年1250萬美元合約。

太空人隊本季戰績70勝92敗，在美國聯盟西區排名第4，只贏了遊騎兵隊，因此季後積極補強。

30歲的Luke Gregerson過去5年效力教士隊，本季效力運動家隊，出賽72場，戰績5勝5敗、防禦率2.12；Pat Neshek過去先後效力雙城、教士、運動家及紅雀，本季效力紅雀，戰績7勝2敗、防禦率1.87。
