企圖延續3連勝氣勢的洛杉磯湖人，16日在印第安那溜馬主場踢到大鐵板，全場紫金軍團一路挨打，上半場團隊43投僅7中，命中率低到僅16.3%，儘管第3節布萊恩(Kobe Bryant)一度強勢取分，希望帶起球隊士氣，但溜馬穩紮穩打，終場就以110比91擊潰湖人，終結先前一波8連敗。湖人3連勝也就此終結。

湖人面對「背靠背」賽程，同時本季首度在周一(美國時間)出賽，顯然團隊調整相當不理想，開賽便遭溜馬一波26比4猛攻，轟得全隊攻守完全失序，一路遭地主隊壓著打。

共計上半場湖人全隊43投僅7中，命中率低到僅16.3%，溜馬不僅有效壓制對手取分，團隊禁區強攻更是猛烈，半場打完便取得33分的大幅領先。

眼見球隊如此低迷，湖人一哥布萊恩第3節以身作則，單節貢獻一記精彩底線爆扣在內的14分，一度將比分縮小至19分差，但溜馬暫停後穩住陣腳，又將領先跨大至30分差。

第4節比賽早早進入垃圾時間，雙方板凳清空，最終溜馬就以19分之差大勝湖人，終結先前一波8連敗。湖人方面，本季最長的3連勝也就此終止，此戰布萊恩拿下全隊最高21分外帶4籃板、3助攻，但全場他26投僅8中。

林書豪此戰同樣低迷，上場16分鐘是6投盡墨，僅靠罰球有兩分進帳。

溜馬全場以史塔基(Rodney Stuckey)20分、10籃板、7助攻最佳，全隊共6人得分上雙，此戰贏得輕鬆寫意。
