小熊再出手簽下紅雀終結者

找來先發投手Jon Lester後，小熊再度出手，找來前紅雀守護神Jason Motte，與他簽下一紙1年450萬美元的合約，附帶250萬美元激勵獎金。

32歲Motte自2008年初登場大聯盟到今年球季，都待在紅雀，擔任球隊終結者，並在2011年助紅雀奪下世界大賽冠軍。

不過Motte去年因動Tommy John，整季都沒有出賽，今年球季歸隊，又因背傷所苦，表現差強人意，僅出賽29場，自責分率4.68。

去年受傷之前，Motte在2012年球季投出代表作，出賽67場、合計72局，拿下42次救援成功，自責分率2.75。
