索尼18日證實，不打算在全球發行「名嘴出任務」（The Interview），也不準備發行DVD。

索尼稍早發表聲明指出，由於許多連鎖戲院擔心受到恐怖攻擊，決定不在美國放映新片「名嘴出任務」。

「名嘴出任務」描述兩位脫口秀主持人在發現北韓領導人金正恩是節目粉絲後，企圖以記者身分前往訪問金正恩，卻被美國中央情報局要求執行暗殺任務。

片中有不少惡搞金正恩的橋段，引起北韓強烈不滿。親北韓團體先駭進索尼網站，又威脅將在戲院發動恐怖攻擊。
