在討論區裡有一篇s40翻滾的影片討論串

也見證了volvo的安全性

但小弟很早之前就有一個疑問,配有全景天窗或是玻璃車頂的車型

在翻滾時對車室的保護能力真的跟一般車型一樣嗎?

這裡借用該篇討論裡的照片,如果有侵權問題馬上自刪喔!

照片中的紅圈處,是翻滾時造成的凹陷型變,如果是玻璃車頂不是就碎了嗎?

鐵皮的車頂雖然變形了,但至少沒有破碎,如果遇到路面上的突起異物,還有一定的保護力

但玻璃車頂破碎後就沒有後續保護力了,突起物會不會直接進入車室撞擊乘客頭部呢?

雖然業代強調玻璃車頂的強度跟一般型是一樣的

但小弟猜想,所謂的強度一樣會不會是指第一時間撞擊時強度一樣

假使車身開始翻滾,後續的保護力會弱於一般車頂

還請對這方面比較有研究的神人幫忙解釋喔!
