國外婚外情網站統計發現，男性最容易出軌年紀高峰，坐落在33歲與49歲，人妻不可不慎。
 
英國《鏡報》報導，婚外情網站統計發現，在各年齡使用者中，33歲與49歲男性使用人數最高。推測其背後原因，懷疑49歲男性可能擔心自己年紀變老變醜，為即將步入5字頭感到憂心，另一可能則單純是欲求不滿。

不過也有其他說法指出，中年危機確實存在，澳洲墨爾本大學研究員說，人們的快樂指數在40歲與42歲跌到谷底。因此，中年男子可能尋求其他方式彌補，例如車子、不合年紀的穿著，或找個年輕妹妹。（余浚安／綜合外電報導）
