23日晚間攻占行政院的民眾遭鎮暴警察強制驅離，於24日凌晨05時10分將行政院清空，但05時46分人潮往忠孝東路跟中山南路聚集，有民眾挑釁鎮暴警察，還以水瓶、拖鞋丟警。

現場多了許多不明人士，很多不是學生，還直接對警方嗆聲：「光天化日下你敢怎麼樣！」雙方再度在政院門口爆發衝突。
