中南部20日豪雨下不停，濁水溪雲林縣莿桐鄉段溪水暴漲，晚間7時左右，2名捕魚男子遭大水困住，其中一名男子失蹤，另一名脫困後上案報警，警方漏夜搜救，但大雨滂沱，能見度低，與失蹤男子的家人協調後，決定先撤回岸邊，21日上午7時再展開搜救。
