Samsung 6月2日在其官方網站Samsung Tomorrow公布了自家Tizen平台上第一台智慧手機設備——Samsung Z。具體的產品將會在6月3日於San Francisco舉辦的Tizen開發者大會上展出。

根據36氪報導，Samsung Z硬體配置平平，搭載一塊4.8英寸、解析度為1280×720的顯示器；2.3GHz四核處理器；800萬像素後置、210萬前置網路攝影機。2GB RAM以及16GB ROM。支援4G、藍牙4.0、NFC。電池容量為2600mAh。除此之外，Samsung還為Samsung Z配備了指紋識別以及心率檢測模組。

這款手機將會在今(2014)年第三季度正式發售，有黑色和金色兩種配色可選。首發地點為俄羅斯。除此之外，Samsung還會為Tizen Store進行長達一年的廣告宣傳，並舉行Tizen APP競賽來吸引開發者。
