（中央社美國航空母艦喬治華盛頓號15日綜合外電報導）美國海軍今天歡迎中國大陸軍方4位人員登上「喬治華盛頓號」航空母艦參觀，並表示希望有朝一日中方也能禮尚往來，邀請美方人員參觀大陸航空母艦。

喬治華盛頓號（USS George Washington）航空母艦明天抵香港靠港訪問前，一架C-2灰狗式運輸機（Greyhound）降落艦上，帶來一批貴賓參觀訪問，包括這4位人民解放軍人員。

中國大陸近來宣示對南海與東海島礁主權，使得兩處海域緊張情勢升高，但喬治華盛頓號所率戰鬥群的指揮官海軍少將蒙哥馬利（Mark C. Montgomery）表示，過去半年來，美中軍方關係「稍有改善」。

喬治華盛頓號目前在香港南方200哩處航行，這次登艦參訪的中方人員包括人民解放軍駐香港部隊一位將領。

蒙哥馬利說，如今也許是北京回禮的適當時機，可以邀請美方派員參觀中方唯一一艘航空母艦「遼寧號」。(中央社)
