警政署統計，大陸國台辦主任張志軍訪台4天期間，遇到50個陳抗團體或個人，總共投入2500人次警力，針對激烈陳抗行為，如封路攔車、潑灑油漆事件，警方採取嚴正執法。警政署表示，堅持依法行政立場，對於不同立場人士，在不影響行程及雙方人員安全下，以「看得到、聽得到、丟不到、打不到」為維安底線，注意比例原則，維護人民言論自由及一般大眾安寧。
