6台灣男子非法運毒 恐遭澳判無期徒刑

澳洲當局今天(6日)表示，6名台灣男子因走私非法興奮劑甲基苯丙胺(methamphetamine，甲基安非他命)到澳洲，面臨無期徒刑的審判。
這6名男子被控把50公斤、價值3,900萬美元(約11.6億元台幣)甲基苯丙胺走私到澳洲。這6名年紀在27歲至46歲的台灣男子，是在5日遭到澳洲警方逮捕。
澳洲聯邦警察表示，雪梨法院將在今天對這6名台灣男子宣判，除了可能被判處無期徒刑外，也將面臨超過100萬澳幣(94萬美元)的罰款。
