阿爾及利亞失聯客機　型號MD-83已停產

阿爾及利亞失聯客機租借自西班牙「Swiftair」，Swiftair在其官網稱，失聯飛機型號為MD-83，機上載有110名乘客，2名飛行員及4名空乘人員。 　　

MD83為美國原麥克唐納道格拉斯公司MD80系列客機。MD83為遠端型客機，在貨艙中增加兩個容量各為2195升的油箱，最大航程可達4700公里。MD80系列1977年10月開始研製，最初定名為DC9-80，屬於對 DC9-50的加長改進型，第一架原型機1979年10月首次試飛，1980年8月獲美國聯邦航空局適航證，同年9月交付使用。 　　

1983年6月，原麥克唐納道格拉斯公司放棄著名的DC商用飛機商標，改稱MD，DC9-80系列就變更為MD80系列。與DC9-50相比，MD-80系列主要的改進是機身加長，翼展加大，採用更大推力的發動機和先進的機載設備，降低耗油率和噪音。

MD80系列客機和波音737、A320一樣，是80和90年代最暢銷的中短程客機。目前已停止生產，先前共生產近1200架。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
