變造護照 最重判刑5年

〔自由時報記者陳彥廷、陳恩惠／台北報導〕護照是公文書，千萬別任意塗改戳章內容，以免吃上偽造文書官司！

移民署表示，中華民國護照是我國公文書，任何塗改或變造護照內頁的入出境查驗章戳行為，都是違法、須負刑事責任；移民署國境事務大隊呼籲民眾，切勿因小失大，誤觸法網，終致得不償失。

外交部領事事務局組長劉邦全表示，護照污損不堪使用，可申請換發護照。若遇到護照遭小孩子塗鴉、不小心髒污或掉到水中等情形，一般而言不會嚴重到面臨什麼處罰，只須申請換發。

但若是蓄意偽造、變造護照，以致足以對公眾或他者造成損害，處5年以下徒刑，併科50萬元以下罰金。
