OECD：教育程度愈低 經濟危機衝擊愈劇

經濟合作暨發展組織(OECD)今天(9日)表示，經濟危機雖未縮減富裕國家人民受教育的管道，卻大大衝擊教育程度低落的年輕人。
OECD秘書長古瑞亞(Angel Gurria)表示，「初步看來，資料顯示OECD國家中，接受教育的人數持續增加」。
25至34歲的年齡層中，近40%讀過大學，比55至64歲年齡層高出15個百分點。
古瑞亞表示，「值得注意的是，經濟危機並未減緩受教育人口增加，反而是就業市場太小，讓人別無選擇，民眾便把握較低的機會成本，投資在自己的教育上，希望追求更好的生活品質」。
此外，新興經濟體的教育普及率上升速度也高於發達國家，這似乎意味著人才的專業技術提升，本應有益於社會整體，但是實際上卻也擴大了社經地位的差距。
同時，在經濟危機期間，教育程度愈低的民眾，愈容易受到失業率上升的衝擊。
報告顯示，2012年34個OECD發達經濟體中，25至34歲擁有大學學歷的民眾，失業率為7.4%；然而，同樣年齡層的民眾若未受過高等教育，失業率則為19.8%。
古瑞拉表示，「我們的資料顯示，經濟危機當中，深受其害的是教育程度不足的年輕人」。
