2014桃園地景藝術節展覽已經結束，但卻驚傳霍夫曼打造的月兔遭祝融，有網友說，之前黃色小鴨才爆掉，「鴨子爆掉月兔燒毀，是有沒有那麼慘？」據報導，在這次展覽中最吸睛的月兔，疑似今天拆解時施工不慎，起火燃燒，變成焦黑的火燒兔。只剩身體的月兔看起來很像菜頭，模樣笑翻網友。

網友聞訊驚呼，牠想回月亮，卻不小心去了太陽！桃園是動物墳場嗎？黃色小鴨來抓交替了。難道是看到嫦娥的秘密，被滅口了？

不過，最威的是早在8日，就有鄉民說，黃色小鴨在桃園時破了一個洞，展示會場還被布置成告別式，這下月兔會不會變烤兔呢？現在，霍夫曼的新作月兔被燒毀了，鄉民大讚「先知」！

有鄉民說，月兔落得這個下場，我們大家都推了一把，因為霍夫曼說「台灣人太熱情了。」且黃色小鴨在桃園展出第一週就破了一個洞，鄉民說「桃園是跟霍夫曼有仇嗎？」
