黃河在新戲中一改青澀形象，改當花心嘴砲男，他為此特別留長髮，看來放蕩不羈，不但被同劇的陳庭妮大讚頗有江口洋介的味道，好友桂綸鎂也傳私訊大讚他的新造型「很有型」。

黃河在TVBS「摩女搶頭婚」中飾演嘴賤男，連陳庭妮都忍不住虧他：「每次對戲，我都覺得他怎麼變得那麼油嘴滑舌。」黃河在一旁反駁自己嘴不賤，但每次「說實話」，就會被笑說嘴賤，有次表妹自稱減肥後會美得像隋棠，他笑回：「是隋棠還是水塔？」陳庭妮一聽立刻大笑說：「這不是嘴賤什麼才是嘴賤啦？」
