《CNBC》報導，聯準會宣布將會繼續維持貨幣政策寬鬆不變，緩解市場對於提前升息的恐懼。

儘管聯準會確定將於十月正式結束量化寬鬆措施，但聯準會不會立刻升息，將會繼續維持低利率相當長一段時間。

目前美國股市在平盤線上下震盪，對於聯準會聲明反應激烈。

雖然聯準會聲明將繼續維持寬鬆不變，但關於升息的條件則有所改變。

聲明中指出，當美國經濟情勢與經濟未來展望明顯改善，足以承受較為緊縮的貨幣政策時，聯邦公開市場委員會就會調升聯邦基金利率目標範圍。

聯準會未來將會透過調整超額儲備利率、透過隔夜逆回購來達成逐漸緊縮貨幣政策的目標。

此外，聯準會亦將逐步有計畫地縮減其資產負債表規模，未來將停止拿到期債券所回收的資金進行再投資。
