洋基菜鳥投手Dellin Betances本季累計132次三振，打破由傳奇球星Mariano Rivera所締造的130K隊史紀錄，Betances說：「能跟最偉大的終結者齊名，我真的感覺很激動。」

在今年之前，Betances只有8場大聯盟出賽紀錄；而在Rivera退休之後，David Robertson接班終結者，Betances則扛起佈局投手。

今天(18日)Betances出賽再飆2K，本季累計132次三振，正式超越由Rivera在1996年締造的單季後援投手130K隊史紀錄。而且Betances只用了87.2局，Rivera當年為107.2局。

「能跟最偉大的終結者齊名，我真的感覺很激動，而且Rivera幾乎只有使用1個球種，那是更令人驚艷的成就。」Betances表示。

洋基隊長Derek Jeter說：「Betances整年表現都很傑出，彷彿看見1996年Mo的身手，他能夠辦到一樣的事。壘上有人時Betances總是能脫困，因為他非常會三振打者。」
