南韓棒球隊連續兩屆獲得在亞運奪冠，因此有13名球員，可享受免服兵役的「特別優惠」待遇。

南韓媒體在今天的報導中說，出戰仁川亞運會棒球賽的南韓國家代表隊，共有24名球員，其中有13名年輕球員，兵役問題還未解決，昨晚以6比3擊敗中華隊之後，可享受免服兵役的「特別優惠」，對他們來，是「最大的禮物」。（王長偉仁川報導）
