〔自由時報記者陳筱琳／綜合報導〕從2012-13球季，NBA球隊為收集數據，在場內外對球員的監控不斷升級，球員工會希望確保球員隱私受到保護。

聯盟引進的球員監控系統，透過移動攝影機追蹤球員場上每次移動，如今範圍擴大至場外，多支球隊採用睡眠監控、場外動態追蹤及體液測試（含血液、汗液）等來加強球員健康狀況和場上表現。

ESPN指出，這些收集球員狀態的動作發生得迅速且令人難以發現，就算未收到投訴，也無證據指出這些監控數據被用於不當行為，但球員工會已重視此問題，力求保護球員隱私。

詹姆斯籲照顧球員薪資

聯盟近日和ESPN/ABC、TNT電視台延長轉播協議，新的合約平均1年26.6億美元（約814.5億台幣），騎士球星詹姆斯希望聯盟搞定電視轉播後，接下來能和球員工會在2016-17球季後雙方可跳出協議前，談好勞資協議，避免談判破裂導致罷工封館。

現行勞資協議，球員薪資佔籃球收入50％，新版電視轉播合約能使球團每年增加17.4億美元營收，團隊薪資可望從目前6300萬美元增加到9400萬美元，球員薪水跟著提升，詹姆斯這種進入NBA10年以上好手，頂薪上看3300萬美元。
