澳洲雪梨今天發生人質挾持事件。電視台畫面顯示，市中心商業區1家咖啡廳遭到疑似伊斯蘭分子占領，他們挾持咖啡廳內人員為人質，窗戶旁還看到有面黑底白字的伊斯蘭旗幟。
