歐力士隊糸井嘉男拿到本季太平洋聯盟的打擊王，歐力士隊15日決定為糸井嘉男加薪1億日圓，明年年薪3億5000萬日圓。

糸井嘉男原是名投手，效力火腿隊時，2006年棄投改練外野，2007年在一軍首度出賽，2013年初火腿隊將糸井嘉男交易到歐力士隊，今年他不僅打擊率3成31，拿到太平洋聯盟打擊王，另外全壘打19支、打點81分都是生涯最佳成績，本季31次盜壘成功，生涯第3度單季盜壘超過30次，連2年盜壘超過30次。

糸井嘉男攻守俱佳，2009年至2014年連6年拿到太平洋聯盟外野手金手套獎，2009年、2011年、2012年、2014年拿到太平洋聯盟外野手最佳10人獎。
