一、新加坡總理李顯龍於12月11日前往韓國出席「東協—韓國紀念峰會」時，會晤韓國總統朴槿惠並呼籲星韓兩國檢討2006年3月生效的「新加坡—韓國自由貿易協定」，以確保該協議達到兩國與其他國家簽定自貿協定一樣的水平。新加坡與韓國雙邊貿易額自2012年的527億星元，下滑到2013年的509億星元。

二、據李總理新聞秘書張儷霖透露，兩位領導人討論合作的領域包括：制定航空服務協定、成立資訊技術中心及生物醫藥科學研發中心。朴槿惠總統表示，2015年係星韓兩國建交40周年，兩國可進一步擴大雙邊合作，以共同加惠韓國創意經濟及新加坡知識經濟。(資料來源：經濟部國貿局)
