線上叫車服務Uber本月初在波特蘭上路，引發無照營業等問題。如今Uber同意暫停載客3個月，並與市府協商私人載客服務的可行之道。

波特蘭市委員諾維克（Steve Novick）昨天宣布，Uber違規了一段時間之後，現在已經同意遵守法規，「我們對此感到欣慰」。

根據雙方協議，Uber從21日起將自願暫停在波特蘭市載客，但繼續維持週圍都會區的載客服務。

Uber發言人史提格（Brooke Steger）表示，波特蘭市同意3個月後讓Uber上路，市府官員與Uber在這3個月內，會針對私人載客服務的法律架構展開協商。

史提格說，如果到了2015年4月9日，仍然無法完成法令條文的更新，屆時市府也會同意讓Uber恢復提供服務。

本月初，Uber在沒有取得相關執照的情況下，在波特蘭上路提供載客服務。市政府除了開出累計達6萬多美元（約新台幣189萬元）的交通違規罰單，還揚言提出民事、刑事甚至聯邦官司。(中央社)
