民進黨中央上午在高雄蓮潭國際會館第一次舉辦「2014執政縣市長聯合治理會議」，13位連任與新任的縣市長全出席。民進黨主席蔡英文、桃園市長當選人鄭文燦、高雄市長陳菊、民進黨團總召柯建銘等都出席，預估將討論區域治理、財政收支規劃與提升治理能量。
